About the Role

topEngineer is seeking a Consultant - IAM Job to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on designing, building, and operating secure, scalable, and reliable platform engineering capabilities. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field, contributing to the integration of infrastructure services, identity and access management (IAM), and security controls.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Consultant will be instrumental in enabling efficient application development and deployment across enterprise platforms. This involves ensuring high availability, compliance, and operational excellence through robust platform engineering practices, with a significant emphasis on managing and securing identities and access within complex IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain internal platforms that support application development, deployment, and operations.
• Enable development teams through standardized environments, automation, and self-service capabilities.
• Implement and operate infrastructure services, including compute, storage, networking, and cloud platforms, ensuring their availability, scalability, and performance.
• Ensure high availability, resilience, and continuity of platforms through monitoring, incident management, proactive maintenance, and business continuity (BCP) and disaster recovery strategies.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and enhance platform efficiency through infrastructure-as-code.
• Implement monitoring tools to track platform health, availability, and performance, and respond to incidents and service disruptions.
• Collaborate with development teams, cybersecurity, and operations to ensure seamless platform integration and provide technical guidance.

Identity and Access Management (IAM) Focus

• Manage IAM platforms (*, SailPoint), covering identity lifecycle, provisioning, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Implement access governance practices, including certification campaigns and access reviews.
• Integrate IAM solutions with enterprise systems, applications, and cloud services.
• Support Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions (*, CyberArk) for managing privileged accounts and secure access.
• Monitor and audit user and privileged activities to ensure compliance and security.
• Enforce access control policies, including segregation of duties (SoD).

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in platform engineering, infrastructure management, or identity and access management.
• Demonstrated experience with IAM platforms such as SailPoint and PAM solutions like CyberArk.
• Proficiency in automation scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NCA.
• Ability to conduct health checks, performance tuning, and root cause analysis.

Compliance and Operational Standards

The Consultant will ensure adherence to all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions. This includes complying with safety, quality, environmental management policies, and information security practices to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
