About the Role

GEN PLUS Group is seeking a creative and hands-on Content Creator / Social Media Manager to support the digital presence of a leading automotive client. This full-time position is ideal for an individual with 2-5 years of experience who is deeply familiar with social media, understands automotive culture, and is capable of producing content from conception to publication, often utilizing mobile technology.

Content Creation and Production

The primary responsibility is to create engaging, platform-native content for social media channels including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. This involves producing high-quality photo and video content that aligns with the brand's launch journey, capturing key moments, activations, events, and brand stories. The role requires developing creative concepts and content ideas that meet brand objectives and resonate with the target audience, transforming content briefs into polished assets with efficient turnaround times. Content should be optimized for maximum engagement, reach, and audience interaction.

Content Capture and Event Engagement

This role involves attending brand events, activations, media engagements, client shoots, and key campaign moments to capture relevant content. Responsibilities include filming product features, behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, lifestyle content, and brand experiences. The creator will capture both planned campaign material and reactive content opportunities, ensuring all content adheres to brand guidelines while remaining authentic, engaging, and culturally relevant. Support will be provided for the creation of launch-related content designed to build awareness and excitement.

Video Editing and Post-Production

Proficiency in editing short-form videos with a focus on strong pacing, storytelling, and audience retention is essential. This includes adding captions, transitions, music, graphics, and motion effects as needed. Content must be optimized for each platform's specific requirements and best practices, with a consistent delivery of quality and brand consistency.

Social Media Management and Strategy

Day-to-day management of social media activities across client channels is required. This includes monitoring social media trends to identify opportunities for reactive and trend-led content, supporting community engagement, and assisting in maintaining a consistent brand voice. The role also involves monitoring content performance, recommending improvements based on engagement and audience insights, and tracking relevant industry developments. Contribution to content planning, campaign ideation, and launch-related content strategies is expected.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Approximately 4 years of experience in content creation and social content management.
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English.
  • Strong understanding of content formats for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Proven experience in filming and editing content independently.
  • Strong video editing skills, including proficiency with captions, transitions, pacing, and basic motion effects.
  • Excellent understanding of social media trends and platform best practices.
  • Comfortable creating content in various real-world environments, including dealerships, events, and outdoor locations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
