About the Control Room Operator Role

Gulf Insulation Group is seeking a Control Room Operator for its operations in Riyadh. This full-time position involves monitoring and controlling manufacturing processes to ensure safe, stable, and efficient production. The role requires a proactive approach to managing operational parameters and responding to deviations.

Core Responsibilities

The Control Room Operator is responsible for the continuous oversight and management of manufacturing operations. Key duties include:

• Operating and monitoring plant systems via DCS/PLC control systems to maintain stable and efficient production.
• Continuously observing process conditions and making necessary adjustments to operating parameters.
• Responding effectively to system alarms and process interruptions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborating with operations and maintenance teams to address and resolve any operational issues.
• Maintaining accurate records of production and operational activities.
• Ensuring adherence to all safety, environmental, and operational procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

• A Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, or Industrial Technology.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in control room operations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of DCS, PLC, and industrial control systems.
• Previous experience in insulation, glass, packaging, or power industries is considered an advantage.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role operates within the manufacturing facilities, requiring consistent presence in the control room.
