UCC Holding is seeking a dedicated Cost Control Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for ensuring the financial integrity and efficiency of projects within the organization, contributing directly to strategic financial management.

Role Overview

The Cost Control Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of projects by developing, monitoring, and managing budgets effectively. This position involves providing accurate cost estimates, meticulously tracking expenditures, and proactively identifying variances to ensure robust financial control. The manager is responsible for implementing effective cost control systems and strategies that optimize resource allocation and drive overall financial efficiency across all projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project and departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with overall organizational financial goals.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects, incorporating all potential expenses and risks to forecast financial needs.
• Monitor and continuously track project expenditures, comparing actual costs against budgeted amounts.
• Analyze cost variances, identify reasons for discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions to manage budget deviations.
• Generate detailed financial reports, highlighting key metrics, trends, and issues for senior management and stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain robust cost control systems and procedures to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent cost overruns and budgetary impacts.
• Review and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with financial terms and addressing any cost-related issues.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial matters.
• Identify opportunities for improving cost control practices and processes, implementing changes to enhance financial management.
• Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for the Cost Control Manager position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in cost control and financial management. This experience should demonstrate a proven ability to manage complex budgets and implement effective cost-saving strategies within a project-driven environment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Cost Control Manager will work collaboratively with various project teams and departments to ensure consistent financial oversight and adherence to budgetary guidelines across all operations.
