About the Role

Jobs for Humanity is partnering with Testing12345 to find a Cybersecurity Threat Monitoring and Response Analyst. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires 0-1 years of experience. The role involves joining the Security Operations team to protect organizational systems by monitoring for cyber threats, triaging alerts, and responding to incidents.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to detect, analyze, and respond to cyber threats in near real-time. This includes maintaining security controls, strengthening incident readiness, and delivering accurate vulnerability and risk reporting through continuous monitoring, tuning, and automation. The analyst will also collaborate with engineering and risk teams to harden systems and continuously improve detection and reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize SIEM/SOC tooling, such as Splunk/QRadar, for security operations.
• Perform threat detection engineering and log analysis.
• Execute incident response activities including triage, containment, and eradication.
• Conduct security monitoring and alert triage.
• Perform continuous analysis and reporting of security posture.
• Implement system hardening measures and apply security recommendations.
• Manage vulnerabilities, including scanning and prioritization.
• Ensure accuracy in risk reporting and metrics.
• Contribute to detection tuning and automation efforts.
• Apply MITRE ATT&CK framework for threat mapping and use.

Required Skills and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of network and endpoint security, including Windows/Linux and Active Directory.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate incident details clearly and effectively.
