About the Role

Qualcomm is seeking a Data Centre Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, KSA. This is a full-time position focused on supporting the company's role as a technology innovator driving digital transformation for a connected future.

Role Overview

In this role, you will apply software engineering principles to design, develop, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs. The work contributes to launching cutting-edge products that meet and exceed customer needs. Collaboration with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineers is essential to design system-level software solutions and understand performance requirements and interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist and support the design, development, creation, modification, and validation of embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements.
• Design and implement small software features for products and systems.
• Participate in design, coding for small features, unit testing, minor debugging, and integration efforts to ensure timely project completion.
• Perform code reviews and regression tests, and triage issues to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with project team members to achieve project objectives.
• Write technical documentation for software projects.

Level of Responsibility

This role operates under supervision. Decision-making primarily affects the direct area of work and/or the immediate work group. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required to convey basic, routine factual information. Tasks involve multiple steps that can be performed in various orders, necessitating some planning, problem-solving, and prioritization for effective completion.
