Role Overview

As a Data Centre Engineer at Qualcomm, you will apply software knowledge to support the design, development, creation, modification, and validation of embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs. This role involves contributing to the launch of cutting-edge products and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver system-level software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, creation, modification, and validation of embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to inform development efforts.
• Design and implement small software features for products and systems.
• Participate in coding for small features, unit testing, debugging, and integration activities to meet project timelines.
• Support code reviews and regression tests, and assist in triaging issues to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with project team members to achieve project objectives.
• Write technical documentation for software projects.

Level of Responsibility

This role operates under supervision, with decision-making impacting the direct area of work and/or the work group. The position requires verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information. Tasks may involve multiple steps that can be performed in various orders, necessitating some planning, problem-solving, and prioritization to complete effectively.
