About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Delivery Project Director with a specialization in landscaping and public realm. This role is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of landscaping and public realm projects within the company's development portfolio. The position requires expertise in designing and delivering high-quality public spaces that align with Qiddiya’s objectives for innovation, sustainability, and community engagement. The role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, and is a full-time position requiring over 10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the design, procurement, and delivery of landscaping and public realm projects, specifically for Package 11 and other packages within the resort core, ensuring adherence to job description requirements.
• Lead and manage the project scope for design and delivery according to the approved schedule and IMS dates.
• Oversee design and delivery to meet required quality management outcomes.
• Manage project packages through the business governance process, including stage gates and commercial aspects.
• Perform commercial management of scope against the approved budget, tracking progress and implementing early warnings, commercial, procurement, and governance processes.
• Prepare and present monthly reports on scope work in an agreed format.
• Coordinate and manage weekly meetings with the team, consultants, and contractors to track progress, actions, and issues, documenting and sharing outcomes.
• Manage interfaces between projects, including infrastructure and other sub-districts, to ensure seamless design and program delivery.
• Proactively manage and resolve issues and problems, escalating to management when resolutions cannot be achieved.
• Ensure quality assurance according to the management plan, including reviewing reports and trends.
• Ensure safety assurance according to the Qiddiya safety management plan, including reviewing reports and trends.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• 15 to 20 years of experience as a Project Manager, leading complex projects from initiation to closure.
• Demonstrated experience working within mega/large-scale complex design and construction programs in private and/or government sectors.
• Expert understanding of commercial and contract management.
• Previous experience in KSA or the Middle East is preferred.
• Significant experience in the development, implementation, and management of business systems, including policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate ideas, strategies, and project performance to diverse audiences and influence senior stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise-level management software, such as Prism, SAP, or similar systems.
• Strong leadership skills to inspire teams and drive results.
• Strategic thinking ability with excellent leadership skills to guide the function's direction and endorse or oppose practices as necessary.
• Proven track record in making strategic, high-impact decisions that drive change or contribute to project success.
• Ability to leverage relationships to maximize project outcomes.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. The role involves leading significant projects within a large-scale development context.
