About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Director - Head of Quality for the MBS Stadium project. This full-time leadership position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves overseeing and ensuring the highest quality standards throughout the construction and delivery phases of the stadium.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Director will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive quality management plans tailored to the MBS Stadium project. This includes coordinating all quality assurance and control activities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring strict compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The role requires close collaboration with project teams, contractors, and various stakeholders to meet all quality objectives within established timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and enforcement of quality management systems and processes specific to the MBS Stadium project.
• Coordinate and supervise quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) activities both on-site and off-site.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and assessments to identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to integrate quality requirements into all phases of the project.
• Develop and manage quality documentation, reporting, and metrics to monitor project quality performance.
• Ensure compliance with local and international quality standards, codes, and regulations applicable to stadium construction.
• Drive initiatives for continuous quality improvement and risk mitigation throughout the project's lifecycle.
• Manage and mentor the quality team, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management, with a preference for experience gained within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects. Demonstrated leadership in developing and implementing robust quality assurance and control programs is essential.

Location and Employment Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires active on-site involvement and presence throughout the project phases in Riyadh.
