Egis is seeking a Director, Investment & Business Development for its operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience and focuses on identifying and capitalizing on investment opportunities within sustainable urban development projects.

Role Responsibilities

The Director, Investment & Business Development will be responsible for spearheading Egis's efforts in identifying and capitalizing on investment opportunities for sustainable urban development projects. Key duties include:

• Developing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with project objectives and market dynamics.
• Conducting in-depth market research and feasibility studies to identify potential investment opportunities in sustainable urban development projects.
• Cultivating and maintaining relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to secure funding and support for project development.
• Conducting thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including financial, legal, and technical assessments, to mitigate risks and ensure investment viability.
• Leading negotiations and structuring of investment deals, including equity investments, debt financing, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting standards, and providing regular updates to stakeholders on investment performance and portfolio management.
• Providing leadership and guidance to the investment development team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or CFA designation is preferred.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in investment management, financial analysis, or corporate finance, with a focus on infrastructure or real estate investments.
• A strong understanding of investment principles, financial markets, and project finance structures.
• A proven track record of successfully sourcing, structuring, and closing investment deals, preferably in the infrastructure or real estate sector.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex investment opportunities and risks.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• A strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of identifying and pursuing profitable investment opportunities.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques; familiarity with investment analysis software is a plus.
• Fluency in English and proficiency in Arabic (reading and writing) are required.
