About the Role

This full-time position is open to candidates with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on identifying and securing products for e-commerce platforms.

Role Overview

The E-commerce Product Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end process of product identification, evaluation, and procurement from the Chinese market. This role involves continuous market research, strategic supplier engagement, and collaborative efforts to ensure a robust product pipeline for Wafi Event's e-commerce initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct continuous research on digital and trending products within the Chinese market.
• Analyze market trends to identify products with high sales potential.
• Communicate and negotiate prices with Chinese suppliers and factories.
• Compare suppliers based on quality, pricing, and delivery efficiency.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on proposed products and conduct feasibility studies.
• Stay informed about the latest products and innovations in the e-commerce sector.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to select suitable products for launch.

Required Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in product research, preferably on Chinese platforms such as Alibaba, 1688, and similar.
• Foundational knowledge of e-commerce principles and operations.
• Proficiency in product analysis and competitor research methodologies.
• Prior experience with basic Chinese supplier relations is preferred.
