About the Mechanical Design Engineer Role

Alfanar is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on creating detailed mechanical system designs and schematics for various projects, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical system designs, schematics, and layouts that align with project specifications and industry standards.
• Perform load calculations, system simulations, and performance analyses to ensure designs are efficient, reliable, and compliant with relevant codes and regulations.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and reports, ensuring accuracy and currency.
• Ensure all designs adhere to national and local mechanical codes, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures.
• Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems with other building systems and project requirements.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide technical advice, and present design concepts and solutions.
• Review and approve design modifications and changes, ensuring alignment with project goals and specifications.
• Identify and resolve design issues, conduct system testing, and provide solutions to technical problems encountered during implementation.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance design processes and solutions.
