About the Role

alfanar is seeking an EPMO Manager to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves overseeing the project portfolio to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and the delivery of business value. The EPMO Manager will establish PMO governance, monitor portfolio performance, and provide executive reporting and insights to support effective decision-making and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the project portfolio and its performance, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and objectives.
Monitor portfolio benefits realization and value delivery, supporting project prioritization and sequencing decisions.
Establish and maintain PMO policies, frameworks, and standards, ensuring consistent application of project management methodologies.
Monitor compliance with governance requirements and drive continuous improvement of PMO processes and tools.
Monitor project health, progress, and performance across the portfolio, reviewing project risks, issues, and dependencies.
Oversee portfolio-level change control processes and provide guidance and support to project managers.
Consolidate portfolio reports and dashboards, providing management with project performance insights and recommendations.
Support governance boards and steering committees, facilitating portfolio review meetings and decision-making processes.
Monitor resource allocation and capacity across projects, conducting project reviews and quality assurance activities.
Support project initiation, business cases, and scope development, and participate in vendor evaluation, selection, and performance oversight.

Address low performance by guiding improvement or making necessary release decisions.
Ensure fair treatment of subordinates, with performance as the primary assessment criterion.

Anticipate problems and implement proactive prevention steps, making timely and proper decisions.

Business Planning and Development

Transform corporate goals into business plans, and plan, follow up, and execute annual or development plans.
Monitor plan performance, initiate actions to strengthen results, and take corrective measures.
Provide periodic work progress reports and monitor and control budgets and expenses for optimum cost efficiency.
Develop the organizational structure based on current and future requirements.
Ensure job descriptions are available for all roles and deployed effectively.
Develop and coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities.
Be conversant with and able to navigate IT solutions relevant to the job and business, promoting their full utilization.
