About the F&B Service Expert Role

Courtyard by Marriott in Riyadh is seeking an F&B Service Expert to join their team. This full-time position focuses on creating memorable guest experiences beyond just serving food and beverages. The role involves taking initiative to offer a range of services that enhance the guest's enjoyment, ensuring that every interaction contributes positively to their overall experience.

Core Responsibilities

As an F&B Service Expert, your duties will encompass various aspects of guest service and operational support. This includes setting tables, coordinating with the kitchen staff, interacting with and serving guests, and maintaining the cleanliness of work and storage areas. The goal is to integrate all transactions seamlessly into the guest experience, ensuring satisfaction and smooth hotel operations.

Key Duties and Tasks

• Engaging in tasks that require standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods, often on varied or potentially slippery surfaces.
• Reviewing menu information accurately.
• Performing physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance.
• Executing movements that involve reaching high places, bending down, bending knees, twisting, stretching, and stooping.
• Performing other reasonable tasks as requested by management to ensure guest satisfaction and efficient hotel operations.

Fundamental Requirements for Success

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent certificate from a General Educational Development (GED) program.
• Less than 1 year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No specific license or certification is required for this role.
