About the Faculty IT Role

The Big Education Institute is seeking a dedicated Faculty IT member to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to delivering high-quality education and supporting student success within an academic environment. Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Purpose of the Role

The Faculty IT member is responsible for delivering effective teaching, fostering student learning, and conducting thorough assessments. This role also involves maintaining academic standards, contributing to curriculum development, and actively participating in various institutional activities to support the educational mission of the Institute.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with the curriculum.
• Deliver modules effectively using engaging teaching methodologies.
• Review and enhance course content to ensure academic quality and industry relevance.
• Guide and mentor students in assignments, projects, and academic progress.
• Prepare assessments, quizzes, and examination papers.
• Evaluate assignments and examinations, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Perform examination invigilation and maintain assessment integrity.
• Record attendance, grades, and academic data in the SIS/LMS within stipulated timelines.
• Monitor student performance and provide academic support where required.
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies, academic regulations, and quality standards.
• Participate in curriculum development, moderation, and quality assurance activities.
• Attend departmental meetings, faculty development programs, and professional training.
• Contribute to admissions, orientations, workshops, seminars, and other academic or promotional activities as assigned.
• Participate actively in on-campus events and institutional initiatives.
• Perform any other academic or administrative duties assigned by the Academic Management.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Faculty IT position must have 5 to 10 years of professional experience in a relevant academic or IT-related teaching role. This experience should demonstrate a proven ability to manage teaching responsibilities, student support, and academic administration effectively.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based at the Big Education Institute in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires active participation in campus life and institutional events.
