About the Role

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Saudi National Graduate Engineer to join the Building Technology Systems (BTS) team in Riyadh. This full-time position offers an opportunity for a graduate engineer to develop foundational skills in the design, coordination, and delivery of integrated building technology systems for major projects in Saudi Arabia. The role involves working under the guidance of experienced consultants on multidisciplinary projects encompassing smart buildings, digital infrastructure, and low-voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and coordination of Building Technology Systems, including ICT & structured cabling, security systems (CCTV, Access Control), Audio–Visual systems, and building automation and smart building technologies.
• Assist in the preparation of technical deliverables such as drawings, specifications, reports, and schedules.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines (MEP, Architecture, BIM) and external stakeholders.
• Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and site visits as required.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Ensure work complies with WSP quality standards, local authority requirements, and project specifications.
• Actively engage in training, mentoring, and professional development programs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Building Services, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduate or up to 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• A strong interest in building technology, smart systems, and digital infrastructure is required.
• Basic knowledge of low–voltage systems and building services is considered an advantage.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Good communication skills in English; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD/Revit is a plus.
