About the Opportunity

Misk Schools is seeking a dedicated Hard Services Supervisor to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role is essential for maintaining the school's facilities and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience in facility management.

Role Purpose

The primary objective of the Hard Services Supervisor is to oversee and ensure the optimal functioning of Misk Schools' physical environment. This involves diligently monitoring the performance, conducting audits, and approving the work delivered by external hard services service providers to maintain high operational standards and building performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, electronic, plumbing, and ventilation systems, coordinating with service providers for optimal building performance.
• Manage service requests by coordinating between internal staff and the hard services service provider.
• Conduct regular audit inspections to ensure smooth operations, raise Work Orders for reactive maintenance, and direct all reactive and corrective maintenance activities for MEP assets.
• Ensure all service providers comply with Misk Schools' policies and established standards.
• Coordinate periodic service provider meetings, establish project plans, and define work timetables.
• Ensure technical documentation, including standard procedures, work instructions, and checklists, is updated to finalize maintenance practices.
• Coordinate and follow up with procurement regarding item requests and deliveries.
• Provide assistance and advice on diagnosing technical issues and associated costs.
• Review and evaluate Preventative Maintenance plans submitted by service providers, ensuring alignment with operational requirements and best practices.
• Contribute to the development and ensure compliance with the maintenance budget.
• Implement continuous improvement policies and innovate service delivery standards.
• Conduct all activities within the service standards set by the Head of FM, focusing on equipment performance and energy efficiency.
• Embed Misk Schools' culture and ethics into all operational activities.
• Collaborate with the Hard Services lead to establish and achieve personal performance objectives.
• Maintain a stakeholder-focused approach in all activities.
• Work flexibly to meet the organization's needs.
• Support innovation in systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assist in development project management and supervision, including progress follow-up, T&C witnessing, snagging, and closeout documentation review.
• Ensure As-built drawings are updated for any new installation works.
• Ensure the Hard Services service provider implements all contract terms.
• Support the tendering process, including site visits for major MEP equipment maintenance services.
• Assist in interviewing new Hard Services Provider members to ensure a skilled team for MEP assets maintenance.
• Undertake on-call responsibility for incidents and emergencies related to MEP assets.
• Perform other duties as reasonably requested by the Hard Services lead.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant hard services or facility management role.
• Professional certification in Facility Management.
• LEED Certificate is preferred.
• Experience working with multinational communities.
