About the Human Resources Trainee Role

This is a 6-month internship opportunity for a Human Resources Trainee as part of the Tamheer Program. The role is based in Riyadh and offers practical experience in various human resources functions within a confidential government organization. The trainee will support the implementation of HR policies and procedures, contributing to workforce requirements and employee support services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment and talent acquisition activities, including posting job advertisements, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Assist in maintaining candidate databases and tracking recruitment activities using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruitment platforms.
  • Support onboarding processes for new employees by preparing documentation, coordinating joining requirements, and facilitating orientation.
  • Monitor employee attendance and leave records through HR systems, ensuring compliance with approved policies.
  • Assist in administering various types of leave requests in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
  • Support the processing of employee transactions such as promotions, transfers, secondments, and end-of-service procedures, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Handle employee inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally, escalating issues as needed.
  • Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, training, compensation, and benefits data.
  • Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and documentation related to HR activities.
  • Support workforce planning and talent acquisition initiatives by collecting and analyzing relevant data.
  • Ensure the accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of employee and candidate information in HR systems.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, procedures, and employee experience initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduate eligible for the Tamheer Program.
  • Understanding of Human Resources principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professional proficiency in Arabic and working knowledge of English.

  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
