About the Role

HCLTech is seeking an experienced Internet Information Services (IIS) Administrator to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is critical for managing and maintaining robust web server environments built on IIS within Windows Server platforms.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the stable, secure, and optimized operation of web infrastructure. The IIS Administrator will be responsible for the complete lifecycle management of IIS-hosted applications and services, working closely with various application teams to meet deployment and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Install and configure infrastructure, and deploy applications on Windows IIS hosted platforms.
Manage and maintain web server and website infrastructure.
Configure and enforce security settings for IIS environments.
Manage web applications and their associated configurations.
Optimize server performance to ensure efficient operation.
Configure and manage Application Pools.
Manage web farms and implement URL routing.
Collaborate with application teams to assess hardware and software deployment requirements.
Review application installation documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Configure and manage FTP and SMTP services.
Implement and manage SSL certificates.
Monitor and troubleshoot IIS server performance issues.
Perform .NET Core upgrades and remediate vulnerability assessments (VA) related to IIS and .NET.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 3+ years of professional experience in managing and maintaining web server environments, specifically with Internet Information Services (IIS) on Windows Server. A strong background in the responsibilities outlined above is essential for success in this role.
