About the Junior IT Auditor Role

Geidea, established in 2008, is seeking a Junior IT Auditor to join its team in Riyadh Region, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is an opportunity to contribute to a company focused on delivering innovative digital payment solutions. The Junior IT Auditor will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of IT systems and processes.

Role Purpose and Context

The primary purpose of this role is to support audit activities within Geidea. This includes executing internal audits, tracking the resolution of identified issues, and reporting findings to senior management. The Junior IT Auditor will be instrumental in identifying and assessing risks, developing practical recommendations, and conducting audits to enhance risk mitigation, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform technology audits covering areas such as Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, Business Continuity, IT Application Controls, and IT Planning & Implementation.
• Conduct follow-up activities on previously identified audit observations.
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls.
• Develop queries or scripts to extract necessary data for audit purposes.
• Benchmark IT functions against industry best practices.
• Develop relevant audit programs and procedures, including Risk & Control Matrices (RCM).
• Conduct process reviews through stakeholder interviews, data validation, and document analysis.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 0 to 2 years of experience in IT internal auditing.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in the fintech, banking, or telecommunications sectors is highly desirable.
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+ are preferred.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Riyadh Region.
