About the Key Account Manager Role

Al-Futtaim is seeking a Key Account Manager to join its Construction Equipment Sales team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on developing and managing client relationships within the construction equipment sector. The role requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers in the construction equipment market. This includes understanding market needs, offering tailored solutions, and expanding the customer base through strategic partnerships. The role involves promoting various solutions such as trade-in, buyback, financing, insurance, and service contracts to meet client requirements.

  • Develop and expand a network of used construction equipment suppliers and buyers.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment and supporting solutions.
  • Promote trade-in, buyback, financing, insurance, and service contract solutions.
  • Evaluate used equipment and negotiate with suppliers for consignment agreements.
  • Manage key accounts and foster long-term relationships with strategic customers.
  • Actively prospect within the assigned territory to grow the customer base.
  • Prepare sales activity reports and provide market and customer feedback.
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, repeat business, and market share growth.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, with an MBA being an advantage. The role requires 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in sales, specifically within heavy-duty commercial vehicles or construction equipment. Experience in managing customer accounts and building sustained business relationships is essential.
