About the Role

MOBCO Group is seeking a Logistics Engineer to join its project team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a proactive individual with proven experience in construction logistics planning and coordination for large-scale projects. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing site logistics operations, ensuring the efficient flow of materials and equipment to support uninterrupted construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive project logistics plans in collaboration with project management and construction teams.
• Coordinate the movement, storage, and distribution of all project materials, equipment, and resources.
• Monitor and manage site access, traffic flow, delivery schedules, and logistics routes to optimize efficiency.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and procurement departments to ensure the timely delivery of necessary items.
• Prepare and maintain logistics schedules, ensuring alignment with overall project construction programs.
• Identify and proactively resolve logistical constraints that could impact project timelines.
• Oversee inventory levels and manage material storage areas within the project site.
• Ensure strict adherence to project safety requirements and established site logistics procedures.
• Coordinate the deployment and utilization of cranes, equipment, and transportation services.
• Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders as needed for permits, access, and logistics-related approvals.
• Prepare detailed logistics reports, including progress updates and resource utilization metrics.
• Support project teams in optimizing site operations and enhancing overall logistical efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in logistics engineering, specifically within the construction industry.
• Demonstrated experience working on large-scale or mega construction projects is essential.
• Strong understanding of construction logistics principles, material management practices, and site coordination techniques.
• Proven experience in logistics planning, transportation management, and resource allocation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Primavera P6, and relevant logistics management software.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.

Mandatory Requirements

• 7–10 years of direct experience in construction logistics.
• Previous involvement in major construction projects is a mandatory requirement.
• In-depth knowledge of site logistics planning and material management.
• Experience collaborating effectively with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ability to commence employment immediately or on short notice.
