About the Role

EY is seeking a Manager to join its Audit team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves leading complex audit engagements and supporting business growth. The role requires building and strengthening relationships with clients and internal teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit work, identifying and escalating risks, and fostering a positive learning environment by mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

As a Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of audit engagements. This includes defining the audit strategy in consultation with Senior Managers, Associate Partners, or Partners, and executing it in compliance with Ernst & Young's policies and protocols. You will also personally execute complex audit procedures and lead teams or parts of teams on engagements, depending on their size. Additionally, you will assist in managing the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees, and communicating issues to project leaders. Participation in business development initiatives is also expected.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of seven years of professional experience in external audit.
• A strong academic record and a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA.
• Experience working with a Big 4 accounting firm.

Ideally, candidates will also possess:

• Experience with risk-based audit processes.
• Coaching, mentoring, and counselling experience.
• Experience in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region.
• Proficiency in the Arabic language.
