About the Manager - BIM Role

Qiddiya | القدية is seeking a Manager - BIM to join the Design Excellence vertical within the Central Development Unit (CDU). The CDU functions as a center of excellence, establishing standards and promoting consistency across complex development projects. This role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, and is a full-time position.

Role Context and Purpose

The Manager – Digital Design & BIM is integral to ensuring projects embody "Qiddiya-ness" by creating standardized measures of design quality. This team is responsible for defining and maintaining BIM standards and compliance to ensure digital delivery quality, driving new initiatives, and fostering continuous improvement. The Manager will support and enable strategic relationships by establishing and maintaining essential tools, processes, and frameworks.

Core Responsibilities

• Champion QIC's "Safety First" value, including the authority to 'Stop Work' and adherence to health, safety, and wellbeing standards.
• Demonstrate positive workplace behaviors aligned with Qiddiya Values.
• Manage, coach, and mentor junior staff to contribute effectively to department deliverables, behaviors, and safety culture.
• Oversee digital design processes, ensuring adherence to BIM standards and SGR methodology.
• Lead a team of designers and BIM specialists, providing direction for daily activities.
• Implement digital twin concepts into projects, ensuring effective data integration and utilization.
• Ensure compliance with BIM policies and validate delivery quality through regular assessments.
• Generate reports on project progress and efficiency metrics, proposing improvements based on data analysis.
• Engage with clients to understand their requirements and integrate feedback into digital design outputs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.
• A master’s degree is considered an advantage.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Engineering design within developers, contractors, or consultants.
• Professional Certifications may be required.
• Professional registration in the respective discipline (*, Chartered Engineer) is an advantage.

• Adherence to QIC (Qiddiya Investment Company) governance requirements.
• Knowledge of relevant industry and local standards, codes, and regulations.
