Role Overview

The Medical Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of Professor Clinics in Riyadh. This full-time, on-site role is crucial for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. The manager will be responsible for optimizing clinic utilization, managing clinical schedules, staffing, and patient flow, and coordinating effectively with consultants, dentists, nurses, and administrative staff to minimize wait times.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising front-desk and clinical support teams.
• Resolving operational issues to ensure smooth clinic functioning.
• Managing inventory and ensuring adequate supplies are available.
• Ensuring that all equipment and treatment rooms are prepared and fully functional.
• Supporting budgeting processes and contributing to financial reporting.
• Tracking key performance metrics to monitor operational efficiency.
• Collaborating with leadership on patient experience initiatives and service development.

Operational Oversight and Compliance

This role involves monitoring operational performance, implementing process improvements, and ensuring strict adherence to local healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and internal policies. The Medical Operations Manager plays a key part in maintaining the high standards of care and operational integrity at Professor Clinics.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in clinical or medical operations management, ideally within dental, outpatient, or specialty clinic settings.
• Strong skills in workflow optimization, scheduling, and resource planning.
• Knowledge of Saudi Arabian healthcare quality standards, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Competence in clinic management software, EHR or dental practice systems, and standard office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in KPIs and data-driven decision-making.
• Organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Dentistry, or a related field; a master’s degree is advantageous.
• Professional proficiency in English; proficiency in Arabic and familiarity with the local healthcare context are highly beneficial.
