About the Role

Four Points by Sheraton in Riyadh is seeking a Sales Manager I to proactively solicit and manage sales opportunities. This full-time position focuses on building long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve sales objectives and personal sales goals. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying and securing new business while ensuring seamless handover for service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

The Sales Manager I will be responsible for a range of sales-focused activities, including:

  • Collaborating with off-property sales channels to ensure coordinated sales efforts.
  • Building and strengthening relationships with existing and new customers through sales calls, events, and trade shows.
  • Developing community relationships to expand the customer base for sales opportunities.
  • Managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Providing accurate and timely turnover of business to Event Management.
  • Participating in sales calls to acquire and close new business.
  • Executing operational aspects of booked business, including generating proposals and writing contracts.

Market Understanding and Revenue Maximization

This role requires a keen understanding of market dynamics to maximize revenue. Key aspects include:

  • Identifying new business opportunities to meet personal and location revenue goals.
  • Analyzing competitor strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand to inform sales strategies.
  • Closing the most advantageous opportunities based on market conditions and location needs.
  • Understanding the target customer profile and their service expectations to offer effective business solutions.

Customer Service Excellence

Providing exceptional customer service is central to this role, driving customer loyalty and account growth. This involves:

  • Supporting the company’s service and relationship strategy throughout the customer experience.
  • Servicing customers to increase their share of business.
  • Executing and supporting the company’s customer service standards.
  • Providing excellent customer service consistent with daily service basics.
  • Setting a positive example for guest relations and interacting with guests to gather feedback.

Qualifications and Experience

This role is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience in sales. A proactive approach and strong relationship-building skills are essential.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh with Four Points by Sheraton.
