About the Sales Executive Role at Luma

Luma is seeking a Sales Executive to lead sales efforts in Saudi Arabia, specifically in Riyadh. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to establish and grow Luma's presence in the region by placing its advanced multimodal AI technology at the forefront of the creative ecosystem. The role involves developing and executing the sales strategy, building a strong revenue pipeline, and fostering key relationships with clients.

Role and Responsibilities

As the first dedicated sales hire in Riyadh, you will be instrumental in developing Luma's sales engine for Saudi Arabia. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Spearheading an outbound prospecting strategy to identify and engage key decision-makers within target Brand, Agency, and Media accounts in Saudi Arabia.
  • Managing the full-cycle sales process, from initial contact and qualification through negotiation and closing, to build the foundational revenue pipeline.
  • Developing and executing the sales motion for Luma within the Saudi Arabian market.
  • Establishing and nurturing potential sales opportunities with creative agencies, media companies, and brands, aiming to convert them into flagship customers and advocates.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and a proven ability to drive business growth in new markets.

  • A minimum of 5 years of full-cycle sales experience within a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.
  • Demonstrated success as a "hunter" with a history of creating new business through proactive outbound prospecting.
  • Experience navigating the "0-to-1" and hypergrowth phases of a company, ideally as an early sales hire in a new region.
  • A tenacious and entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of achieving tangible results in ambiguous or resource-constrained settings.
  • Exceptional communication and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to articulate the value of complex, novel technology to both creative and business leaders.

Preferred Skills and Background

Additional experience and passion can further enhance a candidate's suitability for this role.

  • Experience selling creative technology, generative AI, or high-growth, product-led SaaS solutions.
  • A genuine interest in the creative potential of AI and Luma's mission to expand human imagination.
  • Experience working within a small, rapidly scaling team.
