About the Sales Specialist Role

Ygii is seeking a Sales Specialist to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on managing the complete commercial cycle for corporate gifting solutions, from client acquisition to retention. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities within a high-growth market segment.

Role Responsibilities

The Sales Specialist will be responsible for building a corporate client pipeline from the ground up, targeting event management companies, HR departments, and corporate procurement teams. This role requires managing the entire sales process, including cold outreach, client meetings, proposal development, deal closure, and securing repeat business. Identifying gifting opportunities aligned with Saudi cultural events and corporate program cycles is also a key duty. Collaboration with operations and creative teams to translate client needs into gift proposals is essential. The role also involves tracking sales pipelines, reporting on targets, and proactively identifying any obstacles.

Account Management and Growth

In addition to new business development, the Sales Specialist will manage and grow an existing portfolio of accounts. This involves ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships to encourage recurring business on a quarterly basis.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 2–5 years of direct B2B sales experience, with a proven track record of opening new accounts and closing deals.
  • Experience selling to corporate clients, event companies, HR managers, or procurement teams is considered a strong advantage.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken Arabic and English, with the ability to switch between languages naturally based on client interaction.
  • Possession of a car and a valid Saudi driving license to facilitate client visits.
  • The ability to articulate key sales metrics, such as largest deal size, close rate, and monthly average, without hesitation.
  • Resilience in the face of rejection, using it as a learning opportunity for future interactions.

Work Environment and Expectations

Candidates should be comfortable working in a startup environment that requires initiative and self-direction. This role does not involve extensive hand-holding, warm leads, or a large support team. The focus is on independent performance and proactive engagement.
