The Role: Senior Account Executive
MOZN is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on the Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Retail & Distribution (MRD) market. The primary objective of this role is to drive business growth and expand MOZN's customer base by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and leading the sales process from prospecting through to deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and MOZN's growth objectives.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through effective prospecting and lead qualification.
- Prepare tenders, proposals, and quotations, collaborating with Pre-Sales Engineers for technical and business content.
- Conduct sales presentations, negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions, and manage follow-up activities to secure new business.
- Update CRM tools regularly with accurate forecasts, pipeline status, and activity reports.
- Meet quarterly and annual sales targets while maintaining follow-up discipline.
- Drive long-term customer satisfaction, contract renewals, and cross-sell/up-sell opportunities through proactive engagement.
- Lead RFP responses and commercial negotiations, ensuring compliance with procurement standards and internal governance.
Strategic Engagement and Market Development
- Articulate how AI solutions address pain points in the Oil & Gas and MRD sectors, including regulatory compliance, AML/KYC, fraud detection & prevention, AI, data, and SaaS concepts.
- Maintain a solid understanding of the Saudi market and key sectors such as Oil & Gas and MRD.
- Stay aware of competitor activity and general market trends to support positioning and planning.
- Share customer insights and feedback with internal teams to refine products and go-to-market approaches.
- Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and partners.
- Communicate the business impact and ROI of AI solutions, linking technology capabilities to strategic outcomes.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and delivery teams to align offerings with customer needs and ensure successful implementations.
- Represent MOZN in conferences, webinars, and industry panels to strengthen brand visibility and credibility.
- Attend industry events, conferences, meetings, and networking opportunities to expand professional networks and promote MOZN's offerings.
- Build alliances with consulting firms, system integrators, and technology partners to expand reach and influence.
Required Experience and Capabilities
Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role requires a strong understanding of the sales process from prospecting to closing, coupled with the ability to articulate complex AI solutions. Essential capabilities include:
- Proficiency in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage a robust sales pipeline.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in preparing comprehensive proposals and tenders.
- Solid understanding of the Saudi market and key sectors, particularly Oil & Gas and MRD.
- Knowledge of AI, data, and SaaS concepts, and their application to financial crime prevention (AML/KYC, fraud detection) and regulatory compliance.
- Commitment to continuous development in AI, digital transformation, and industry trends.
