About Jasara and the Role

Jasara Program Management Company is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position offers an opportunity for a professional to lead project cost management initiatives for major projects, contributing to financial success and effective project delivery.

Role Contribution

The Senior Cost Manager will play a central role in overseeing comprehensive cost estimation processes, managing project budgets, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This position requires a professional with a proven background in project cost management within the construction or project management industry.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of cost management strategies across various projects.
Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts tailored to project requirements.
Monitor project financial performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Analyze complex cost data and prepare detailed reports for management and stakeholders.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to facilitate effective cost control.
Oversee the procurement process, including contract evaluation and negotiation of terms and prices with suppliers.
Manage and mentor junior cost management staff, providing guidance and support.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and cost estimation methodologies to ensure best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in cost management.
A minimum of 5 years in a senior role within the construction or project management industry.

Required Skills and Attributes

Strong proficiency in project cost control and estimation software.
In-depth knowledge of contract management and negotiation.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Outstanding communication and leadership abilities, with experience in managing teams.

Familiarity with regional market trends and pricing structures in the Middle East is preferred.
