About the Role

EY is seeking Senior External Auditors to join its Audit team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves supporting clients by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing insights into accounting and reporting matters.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior External Auditor, you will participate in audit engagements, working collaboratively within the team. This includes sharing responsibilities, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress. You will also assist in preparing for and participating in meetings with client management teams. A key part of the role involves preparing reports and schedules for clients and other stakeholders, and developing productive working relationships with client personnel.

Additionally, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining internal and external relationships, identifying potential business opportunities for EY, and contributing to people initiatives such as recruiting and retaining assurance professionals. A focus on anticipating and identifying risks, and escalating issues appropriately, is essential. You will ensure that work delivered to clients meets high-quality standards and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A strong academic record, including a degree.
• A professional qualification, such as ACCA, CPA, or CA, is required.
• A minimum of four years of professional experience in external audit.
• Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is necessary.
