About the Senior Healthcare Solutions Consultant Role

Medtronic, a global leader in healthcare technology, is seeking a Senior Healthcare Solutions Consultant to join its team in Riyadh. The role is within the Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) team, focusing on driving transformational change and optimizing operations within healthcare organizations.

Role Context and Purpose

As a Senior Healthcare Solutions Consultant, you will partner with hospital management teams and payers to implement innovative growth strategies, streamline patient-focused care pathways, and optimize operational efficiency. This role requires seasoned professionals with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare value chain and experience across multiple disciplines to drive complex change.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of consulting service offerings and mentor consultants through on-the-job coaching.
• Identify and scope client needs and solutions, influencing stakeholders by developing situation analyses and business cases for change.
• Map, understand, and assess clinical pathways and patient journeys using appropriate KPIs.
• Identify, frame, and prioritize initiatives for value capture, establishing roadmaps and actionable plans for improvement and cost savings.
• Manage end-to-end projects and programs, providing day-to-day coaching and support to the service delivery team.
• Prepare portfolio reviews for steering committees to track progress, measure economic value, and assess customer satisfaction.
• Identify process bottlenecks and advance consultancy projects with a solution-oriented approach.
• Drive data analytics related to clinical, operational, and financial outcomes from a solution-oriented perspective.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in a relevant functional area such as Healthcare Management, Quality and Process Management, Industrial Engineering, or Healthcare Marketing.
• Experience in consulting or healthcare environments, with exposure to business development, marketing, or process and quality management functions.
• Background gained within a top-tier consulting firm or a leading hospital/healthcare organization is preferred.
• Demonstrable program management skills, including planning, coordinating, communicating, influencing, relationship building, milestone achievement, issue resolution, and risk management.
• A good command of English.
