The Role: Senior Manager Operations Risk

Red Sea Global is seeking a Senior Manager Operations Risk to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is critical for ensuring the adequate integration and consolidation of risks originating from operational destinations, subsidiaries, and enablers, escalating them effectively to the enterprise level. The Senior Manager will be responsible for developing comprehensive dashboards and risk registers for all operational entities, including hospitality and non-hospitality activities, and for the overall Operations Risk Profile.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in setting departmental goals, initiatives, and plans, and monitor their execution.
• Manage day-to-day activities and operations, including implementing policies and procedures and recommending improvements.
• Assist in the development and management of financial and human resource requirements, including the annual budget.
• Guide and support employees in their work execution and professional development.
• Support the development and maintenance of Operations Risk Management policies, processes, and procedures in alignment with the ISO 31000 framework.
• Oversee the implementation of approved mitigation plans and ensure integration across operational verticals.
• Provide an aggregated view of risks related to overall Operations Mega Processes and develop a systemic Operations risk profile.
• Act as the Secretariate for the Operations Risk Panel (ORP).
• Review and consolidate all identified operational asset risks, ensuring material risks are escalated to the Risk Director.
• Engage with Corporate, Projects Delivery, and Development risk teams to ensure effective risk transfer across the value chain.
• Facilitate operations risk assessment workshops and meetings with operational teams.
• Facilitate the development of risk treatment plans with risk owners.
• Review consolidated operations risk treatment strategies to identify enterprise-level improvement areas.
• Prepare and distribute risk dashboards and reports.
• Monitor compliance and effectiveness of Risk Management processes within RSG Operations.
• Monitor the timeliness and effectiveness of consolidated operational risk treatment plans and strategies.
• Identify risk training needs and develop/deliver training materials to Risk Champions.
• Recommend awareness messages to the Risk Director for dissemination to the business.
• Share knowledge of risk practices and best practices with the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this Senior Manager role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in operations risk management or a closely related field. Essential qualifications include a proven ability to develop and implement risk frameworks, conduct comprehensive risk assessments, and manage robust reporting functions. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills are required to effectively guide teams, engage stakeholders, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic organization focused on large-scale transformative projects.
