About the Role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Security Assurance Solutions Architect to join the Security Assurance Services (SAS) team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on helping enterprise customers operationalize the shared responsibility model as they migrate to the cloud, addressing their governance, risk, and compliance requirements through scalable computing architectures.

Role Context and Objectives

The Security Assurance Services team leverages expertise to build scalable security solutions for internal and external customers, aiming to secure global workloads and achieve business outcomes. This role is crucial for expanding the Security Assurance practice by educating customers on how AWS's product-led, people-powered services enable secure operations and demonstrate compliance achievement. The position operates at the intersection of cloud computing, cybersecurity, and compliance, engaging with multiple business lines and diverse security and compliance use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead teams, including Amazonians, partners, and customers, to enhance security assurance and compliance programs.
• Define and present innovative compliance and risk management approaches to customers, facilitating the migration of sensitive workloads to the cloud.
• Address security assurance questions and provide guidance on managing risk and achieving compliance within the AWS Cloud through in-depth discussions, strategic recommendations, and demonstrations of compliance automation.
• Collaborate with AWS engineering, support, and business teams to convey partner and customer feedback for input into AWS technology roadmaps.
• Travel to customer sites as needed.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in security and compliance. The role requires an innovative professional with the ability to handle a wide range of compliance requirements, delve into details, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and communicate effectively at all organizational levels. Experience in addressing enterprise risk management requirements using highly scalable computing architectures is essential.
