About the Role

SJ Group is seeking a Senior Site Civil Engineer (Utilities) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves leading site supervision activities for utilities infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and project timelines. SJ Group is a global consulting engineering firm recognized for its technical expertise in civil, structural, and specialist engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Site Civil Engineer (Utilities) will be responsible for the following:

• Supervising all utilities construction works, including water, sewer, stormwater, and telecommunications systems.
• Ensuring that all work complies with design drawings, relevant standards, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
• Leading site inspections, overseeing testing procedures, and coordinating effectively with contractors.
• Monitoring project progress and reporting on site activities, utilizing digital reporting tools.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Possess over 10 years of experience in utilities construction supervision.
• Have strong experience with infrastructure projects in the GCC region.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or PE are preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves hands-on site supervision and requires close collaboration with project teams and contractors to achieve high-performance outcomes across the built environment.
