About the Role

Tahaluf, a leading B2B live and on-demand events organizer in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Senior Startup Program Executive to join its Investor & Startup Programs team on a contractor basis. This is an execution-focused role responsible for building and delivering comprehensive startup programs with minimal supervision, from initial curation through to on-ground execution across multiple events.

Role Overview

The Senior Startup Program Executive will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of startup programs for assigned events. This includes developing strategy, curating participants, designing and delivering programming, and ensuring seamless on-ground execution. The role requires a proactive approach to managing the startup application pipeline, fostering relationships with stakeholders, and driving program success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the complete startup program for assigned events, from strategy and outreach to selection and onboarding.
  • Define and implement vetting frameworks tailored to each event's audience and sector.
  • Manage the startup application pipeline, including inbound applications, partner referrals, and proactive outreach.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align startup selection criteria and sector mandates.
  • Curate the on-site startup mix with the commercial team to ensure geographic diversity, sector representation, and commercial quality.
  • Design and deliver pre-event programming for selected startups, focusing on pitching, matchmaking, and sector insights.
  • Coordinate special program elements such as Startup Clinics and Founders Bootcamp sessions, managing speakers and attendee experience.
  • Develop and maintain startup onboarding documentation, guides, and communication materials.
  • Support the startup confirmation process, including floor plan allocation and logistics briefings.
  • Oversee concierge introductions and matchmaking zone coordination for startups on-site.
  • Manage on-ground startup clinics, pitch sessions, and competition-related programming.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Production, and Design teams for a seamless startup zone experience.
  • Maintain accurate startup data across internal management tools.
  • Track and report on program KPIs, including application volume, selection rates, NPS, and matchmaking outcomes.
  • Conduct post-event debriefs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Follow up with startups to capture investment outcomes and business milestones.
  • Contribute to concept note development for future program enhancements.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 4–5 years of experience in startup program management, accelerator operations, or ecosystem program delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs across multiple stakeholders and events.
  • Strong understanding of the startup and venture capital ecosystem; sector knowledge in cybersecurity, gaming, or technology is advantageous.
  • Experience working across international markets; MENA exposure is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Highly organized and execution-focused, capable of managing timelines and delivery under pressure.
  • Strong written English is mandatory; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
  • Comfortable working with data management tools.

Work Arrangement

This is a freelancer, fixed-term contract role. The position can be performed remotely. Tahaluf is unable to provide relocation or sponsorship support.
