About the Service Advisor Role

Kia NMC is seeking a dedicated Service Advisor to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves acting as the primary point of contact for customers regarding their vehicle service needs, ensuring a smooth and transparent experience from initial consultation through to service completion. The role requires a professional who can effectively communicate technical information to customers and manage service appointments efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

The Service Advisor will be responsible for:

• Advising customers on necessary routine maintenance and recommended services.
• Identifying mechanical issues by engaging with customers, conducting visual inspections, or performing test drives.
• Discussing inspection findings with customers, recommending corrective actions, and preparing detailed work orders for repairs.
• Providing customers with accurate time, cost, and labor estimates for requested services.
• Documenting customer concerns on repair orders to assist technicians in problem diagnosis.
• Explaining completed work and associated charges to customers upon service completion.
• Addressing and resolving customer complaints effectively.
• Scheduling service appointments for customers.
• Gathering essential customer and vehicle data prior to appointments when feasible.
• Greeting customers in a timely and friendly manner, and collecting vehicle information.
• Conducting test drives with customers to confirm issues or referring to a test technician.
• Reviewing service history, inspecting vehicles, and recommending additional necessary services.
• Educating customers on vehicle care and the importance of adhering to manufacturer maintenance specifications.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this Service Advisor position should possess:

• A minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years of relevant experience.
