About the Role
Amazon is seeking a Strategic Accounts Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on recruiting and developing strategic selling partners within the Other Hardlines Category for ******, driving both Selling Partner growth and customer satisfaction through strategic insights and operational excellence.
Role Overview
The Strategic Accounts Manager will own business and operational objectives within the Direct Seller Recruiting team, with a primary focus on acquiring key account partners. This position involves creating and executing strategies to expand a portfolio of businesses, ensuring best-in-class onboarding for new Selling Partners, and fostering the growth of strategic merchants within a designated product family.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and recruit high-potential strategic merchants for ****** via phone and email.
- Manage and prioritize a pipeline of sellers to meet or exceed quarterly targets.
- Act as a business partner for new sellers, providing data-driven insights and guidance for optimization on Amazon.
- Educate new sellers on Amazon's standards for delivery and customer experience.
- Enable sellers to effectively use Amazon's tools and systems for catalog management, inventory, and performance monitoring.
- Develop expertise in assigned categories, including brands, trends, seasonal items, and pricing, to inform seller pitches and advice.
- Track and report on business development results, analyzing data and interpreting reports for the seller portfolio.
- Prioritize time effectively to achieve targets in a results-oriented environment.
- Identify and advise on improvements to business input metrics that drive growth and enhance the end customer experience, in collaboration with other Amazon teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely, accurate, and professional operational support for all Selling Partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Selling Partners, developing joint business plans and addressing issues.
- Manage Selling Partner needs and engagement complexity through efficient allocation.
- Monitor satisfaction survey results and feedback to identify trends, establish improvement plans, and manage expectations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to enhance tools and processes for Selling Partner experience and Account Manager productivity.
- Identify, quantify, and define feature enhancements and new products based on customer feedback, data analysis, and competitive gaps.
- Contribute to raising standards for Account Managers, prioritizing strategic initiatives and escalation support.
- Act as a thought leader in defining success criteria and understanding Selling Partner business needs in a dynamic environment.
- Partner with external teams, including Category Management, Finance, and Global Account Management, to align programs and initiatives.
- Lead recruiting and hiring efforts for the direct team and broader organization.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 5+ years of experience in sales or marketing (*, e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS).
- Experience influencing at all organizational levels, including executive level.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh.
