About the Role

Gulf Center for Geophysical & Water Consulting is seeking an experienced Superintendent – Site Construction Operations & Logistics to lead critical multi-site construction, camp, and logistics operations. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and supports major exploration and infrastructure projects across the Kingdom. The ideal candidate will bring 5-10 years of relevant experience to this pivotal leadership position.

Strategic Leadership and Project Oversight

The Superintendent will provide strategic leadership for all construction activities, camp operations, logistics, and contractor management. This involves guiding multidisciplinary teams to ensure that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. A core focus of this role is to maintain the highest standards of quality, governance, and operational performance across all project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee construction, logistics, and camp operations across multiple project locations.
• Plan, organize, and control project resources, including labour, materials, equipment, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
• Provide operational leadership for camp accommodation, facilities, utilities, infrastructure, and support services.
• Monitor contractor and vendor performance to ensure service quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee procurement planning, project cost control, financial approvals, and operational reporting.
• Promote a strong culture of health, safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement across all sites.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, fleet, inventory, procurement, and project teams to support seamless operations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor supervisors, and drive operational excellence through effective leadership and governance.

Candidate Profile and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of experience in managing large-scale construction, camp, and logistics operations. The role requires demonstrated leadership capabilities in overseeing complex projects, managing diverse teams, and ensuring adherence to stringent operational and safety standards. A proven track record in strategic planning, resource control, and stakeholder management is essential.
