About the Role

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced Windows Virtualization ADFS Engineer for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role involves the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise Windows Server platforms and virtualization environments.

Core Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise Windows Server platforms, encompassing Active Directory, ADFS, GPOs, DNS, and DHCP. You will lead the management of VMware ESXi/vCenter or Hyper-V and Nutanix virtualization environments. A key aspect of this role is driving automation for patching, provisioning, monitoring, and compliance checks using tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, SCCM/WSUS, and PowerCLI. This includes optimizing resource utilization through DRS/HA and leading Disaster Recovery (DR) failover/failback exercises for virtual workloads, such as using RP4VM. You will also represent the Windows domain in DR tests, ensuring robust backup and recovery solutions are in place.

System Management and Security

This position requires the implementation of security baselines, such as CIS standards, and managing vulnerability remediations. Ensuring system lifecycle compliance with standards like NDMO and NCA is crucial. You will oversee the integration of virtualization with storage, network overlays, and backup solutions, including technologies like Commvault. Maintaining comprehensive documentation, including CMDB integrity, runbooks, and VM lifecycle records, is also a key duty.

Incident Management and Team Mentorship

You will lead root cause analysis for major incidents occurring across Windows and virtual environments. Additionally, this role involves mentoring L1/L2 team members, contributing to their professional development.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Advanced experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, ADFS, GPO, DNS, and DHCP.
• Deep experience in Nutanix (Prism Central Administrator, AHV Cluster Build), including virtual networking and storage mapping.
• Deep experience in VMware (vSphere, vCenter, SRM, RP4VM) or Hyper-V, including virtual networking and storage mapping.
• High proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Ansible, and PowerCLI, along with tools like SCCM/WSUS.
• Strong understanding of system hardening, ITSM, and compliance frameworks (NDMO, NCA).
• Familiarity with hybrid environments.
• A Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of combined experience in Windows Server and virtualization engineering.
• Possession of VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or a Microsoft equivalent certification (*, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate).
• ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
