About Al Tuwairqi Group and the Role

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking a qualified Senior Operator, Main Pulpit to join our team in Jeddah. This is a full-time position critical to the continuous and safe operation of our production facility, requiring a professional with 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Position Overview

The Senior Operator, Main Pulpit, is responsible for overseeing and controlling key operational aspects from the main control station. This role involves active monitoring of production processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and implementing immediate responses to operational issues and safety concerns to maintain efficient and secure production flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Report all unsafe conditions promptly to the Production Shift In-Charge and to the concerned Mechanical and Electrical personnel.
• Respond to quality-related concerns raised by the QC Inspector, including issues pertaining to size, weight, or mechanical properties.
• Inform the finishing roller of any issues and, if the issue is major or may result in non-prime finished product, stop rolling and inform the finishing roller and Shift In-Charge immediately.
• React promptly to alarms appearing on the monitor by informing the concerned area or department and following the required operational response.
• Record the start and end time of any mill delay and ensure delay details are communicated accurately.
• Record all cobbles occurring during the shift, including relevant operational details when required.
• At the end of the shift, prepare the delay and production report in consultation with the Shift In-Charge.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Senior Operator, Main Pulpit role must possess 2 to 5 years of experience in a relevant operational capacity, ideally within a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment where similar duties are performed.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah. The role operates within a dynamic production environment, requiring consistent attention to detail and adherence to operational procedures.
