About the Role

Panda Retail Company – Savola Group is seeking a Category Management Associate for its Home Care Paper & Disposables department. This full-time position is based in Makkah, with opportunities in Jeddah and Makkah. The role is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, offering a foundational opportunity within the retail sector.

Role Purpose

The primary objective of this role is to support the department in achieving its sales, margin, and other income targets. By contributing to these commercial goals, the Category Management Associate will play a part in the company's overall sales and bottom-line performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Category/Assistant Category Manager in negotiating annual supply agreements with vendors, adhering to company guidelines.
• Recommend product categories to the Category Manager and support the implementation of category plans aligned with sales budgets and forecasts.
• Aid in negotiating and administering cost and retail prices to establish product margins.
• Support the management of total commercial margin through vendor deal negotiation and follow-up, ensuring effective implementation.
• Analyze and follow up on the product sourcing process with vendors, completing all necessary formalities.
• Contribute to managing vendor relations by providing periodic performance feedback.
• Assist in the promo optimization process, including supplier brief communication, item selection, internal communication, forecasting, sign-off, and post-promo reviews.
• Support category availability improvement by setting Minimum Fill Quantity (MFQ) and Minimum Deal Quantity (MDQ).
• Contribute to category footfall improvement through planogram implementation.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering.
• Experience: 0-1 years.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Negotiation skills.
• Analytical skills.
