About the Electrician Role at Delta Hotels and Resorts®

Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking a Full-time Electrician to join its team in Makkah. This role is integral to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems throughout the hotel property. The Electrician will be responsible for a wide range of tasks from installation to maintenance and diagnostics, supporting the overall functionality of the resort.

Position Summary

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical and electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures. This position involves inspecting and diagnosing malfunctioning systems and components, connecting wires, and utilizing various testing devices to ensure all electrical installations comply with specifications and relevant codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning tools, equipment, electrical systems, apparatus, and components.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Utilize testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Test batteries in generators and emergency lighting systems.
• Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and current National Electric Code and local codes.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Respond to repair requests and perform preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and appliances.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition necessary parts and supplies.
• Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language and prepare and review information in a variety of formats accurately and completely.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following essential qualifications:

• Experience: 0-1 years of related work experience.
• License: Valid Driver’s License.

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are considered advantageous for this role:

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
