Role Overview

Solar Robotics Systems is seeking a Sales Manager – Commercial & Industrial (C&I) to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, building strategic relationships with key stakeholders, and driving sales of robotic solar cleaning solutions and associated services within the C&I sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the C&I sales strategy in alignment with company growth objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities across commercial and industrial sectors.
• Build and maintain a sustainable pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and proposal development through negotiation and contract signing.
• Achieve annual sales and revenue targets.
• Prepare commercial proposals, pricing strategies, and customer-specific solutions.
• Build long-term relationships with key customers, decision-makers, and strategic accounts.
• Develop partnerships with EPC contractors, solar developers, utilities, government entities, distributors, and channel partners.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
• Lead RFQ, RFP, and tender responses in coordination with Engineering, Operations, and other internal teams.
• Support contract finalization and ensure timely submission of commercial proposals.
• Collaborate with Finance on collections and with Marketing on campaigns, exhibitions, and market-development activities.
• Work closely with Engineering and Technical teams to support customer requirements, site assessments, and product improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, and environmental policies during customer and site activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from a full-time accredited university in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. A master’s degree is an advantage.
• At least 5–10 years of B2B sales and business-development experience, preferably within the Energy, Solar, Oil & Gas, or related sectors.
• Strong experience in consultative selling, key-account management, commercial negotiation, and contract management.
• Proven ability to develop new markets, build sales pipelines, and achieve revenue targets.
• Experience working with EPC contractors, developers, industrial customers, government entities, and other key stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of proposal development, tender management, RFQ/RFP processes, and commercial contracting.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Good market awareness and ability to assess competitor activity and identify emerging opportunities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-management, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain.

Work Location and Travel

This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires frequent travel across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with occasional travel within the GCC based on business requirements.
