About the Role

NOV is seeking a Structural Service Engineer to join the Aftermarket / Field Services department. This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern Province, and is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Role Overview

The Structural Service Engineer will be responsible for conducting structural inspections and assessments of critical rig components. This role involves detailed analysis, reporting, and coordination to ensure the integrity and safety of equipment within the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural inspections and assessments of rig components, including masts, substructures, and cranes.
• Conduct inspections and prepare comprehensive technical reports in accordance with NOV standards.
• Identify and document fatigue or corrosion issues on equipment.
• Coordinate findings and repair requirements with field service teams, engineering departments, and customers.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and inspection standards, including API, NOV PI4G, and ISO.
• Support the preparation of necessary documentation packages for inspections and repairs.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Structural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in structural inspection, maintenance, or rig fabrication/aftermarket support.
• Good knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods.
• Familiarity with structural drawings and international standards such as API, ISO, and DNV.
• Willingness to travel to rig sites and fabrication yards as required by the role.

Candidates must possess strong reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage inspection findings and coordinate with various stakeholders.
