Data Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing highly available Business Intelligence solutions, as well as Big Data and Integration systems using a variety of technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Business Intelligence solutions, Big Data and Integration systems using SSIS and SSRS.
• Debug, monitor, and troubleshoot BI solutions.
• Create and deploy reports.
• Write relational and multidimensional database queries.
• Modify databases and products according to client needs.
• Create functional requirements.
• Design and develop database architectures.
• Use and implement Data Warehouse tools and concepts.
• Create development standards that comply with enterprise architecture guidelines.
• Extract data from multiple structured and unstructured data sources.
• Develop robust and presentable big data visualizations.

Requirements:

• 3+ years' experience with ETL tools such as DTS, SSIS (SSIS Preferred) and SSAS.
• Experience in using data visualization tools (Power-BI, Tableau, AWS Quick Sight, etc.).
• 3+ years' experience with SQL Server, including T-SQL stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, indexes, query tuning, and SSIS.
• 3+ years’ experience in database development, SQL, Transactional SQL, Stored Procedures, and RDBMS.
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply UX principles to ensure dashboards are user-friendly and visually compelling.

• Incorporate advanced analytics to enhance reporting capabilities.
• Continuously monitor, validate, and improve the quality and performance of dashboards.

General Duties:
- Report daily to the Senior Manager on performance management and operational metrics.
- Ensure performance management requirements are met during the handover from network delivery to operations.
- Contribute to meetings and workshops on performance management and reporting.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency of data in reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align reporting with operational goals.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, telecommunications, or engineering.
- 5 years of professional experience in performance management and reporting design.
- Strong experience with Power BI and report automation.
- Proficient in Python and ETL processes.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
