In this role, you will be essential in managing financial transactions, reporting, and ensuring compliance across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Accounting & Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records according to company policies and accounting standards. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities and generate financial statements.
- General Ledger & Reconciliation: Ensure timely posting and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and perform bank reconciliations.
- Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and support audits.
- Cost & Variance Analysis: Monitor expenses, analyze variances against budgets, and provide insights for cost efficiency.
- Tax & Regulatory Support: Assist in tax filings and maintain documentation for regulatory compliance.
Must Have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in shipping, logistics, or trading.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
