Join GE Vernova as a Purchasing Manager!
As a leader in electric power generation, GE Vernova is committed to innovation and sustainability. This position plays a crucial role in the supplier strategy and daily purchasing operations at our GEMTEC Repair shop. Reporting directly to the Global Repair Purchasing Leader and the GEMTEC Plant General Manager, you will be central to driving our repair shop's operational growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy: Develop and implement a transformative sourcing team and supplier network.
Quality Management: Collaborate with quality teams to address supplier issues and develop recovery plans.
Fulfillment Oversight: Monitor supply performance, prioritizing and resolving material issues.
Leadtime and Cost Management: Work to implement strategies that reduce delivery times and costs.
Payment and Supplier Relations: Negotiate vendor terms to manage cash flow effectively.
Team Development: Coach and train team members on policies and procurement expertise.
Continuous Improvement: Foster improvements in the sourcing process using Lean methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in supply chain or procurement.
Strong background in Sourcing & Buying-Procurement.
Cross-cultural leadership experience.
Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes.
Capability to handle complex supplier relationships.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Desired Characteristics:

Exceptional communication and project management abilities.
Preferred KSA Nationality.
Fluency in Arabic.
Experience in Gas Turbine repair or related Aviation MRO.
Lean and Six Sigma certification.

PipeCare Group of companies has been helping customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets for over 20 years. We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Officer who will play a vital role in managing interactions with suppliers, streamlining procurement processes, and contributing to the efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Handling purchasing procedures and material receiving.
Submitting GRN to accounts and handling petty cash procurement.
Attending audits related to purchasing and supplier meetings.
Managing purchase requisitions, including item code and purchase order creation.
Following up on deliveries and payment requests.
Conducting negotiations with suppliers on price, terms, and delivery.
Keeping an updated supplier list and registering new suppliers.
Conducting market research and maintaining a competitive edge in procurement.

Skills/Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain.
5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in Manufacturing, FMCG, or Automotive.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes and ERP systems.
Good command of the English language.
