About the Business Development Role at SHEIN

SHEIN is seeking a proactive Business Development professional to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on expanding the company's merchant network and fostering strategic partnerships within the non-beauty sector in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Merchant Resource Development & Maintenance: Proactively identify non-beauty brand owners and distributors in Saudi Arabia, cultivate long-term cooperative relationships, and grow the regional merchant database.
• End-to-End Business Cooperation Execution: Independently manage requirement communication, proposal development, negotiation, and contract signing. Coordinate with operations teams to ensure the implementation of cooperation terms and achievement of partnership goals.
• Performance Achievement & Optimization: Manage performance indicators such as the number of cooperative merchants and Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV). Track data, analyze bottlenecks, and drive strategy optimization to meet targets.
• Market Information Feedback: Monitor local non-beauty consumption trends, competitor strategies, and policy changes. Produce analysis reports to support company strategy adjustments.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of local non-beauty brand merchant resources in Saudi Arabia; candidates with established cooperative channels are preferred.
• Priority will be given to candidates with non-beauty category Business Development or operations experience on platforms such as Amazon or Noon.

Language and Communication Skills

• Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing), with the ability to communicate independently in English as the working language.
• Proficiency in Arabic is considered a key advantage.

Essential Competencies

• Strong business negotiation and resource integration skills.
• Ability to perform effectively under performance pressure.
• Sharp insight into Middle East non-beauty market trends and consumer needs.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
