Role Summary: Captain Food & Beverage

The Ritz-Carlton in Riyadh is seeking a Captain Food & Beverage to join its full-time team. This role is central to ensuring the gracious and thoughtful delivery of The Ritz-Carlton's "Gold Standards" daily. Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in a hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate service needs to chefs and stewards during functions.
• Calculate charges for group functions and present checks to group contacts for payment.
• Prepare banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee breaks for service, ensuring proper centerpieces and inspecting china, glass, and silver for cleanliness and presentation.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards.
• Communicate guest meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards and check in to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Develop positive working relationships with colleagues, support team goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
